With WeePay Wallet, you can send money to anyone you know.
Non-registered individuals will receive an SMS with a unique reference number that they will need to show at a Cash United or LibanPost agent while collecting the money.
Yes! You can send money to others by using the QR code feature on the WeePay Wallet app, without having to share your mobile number and personal details.
All you have to do is scan the QR code of the person that you’d like to send money to, enter the desired amount and complete the transaction.
QR (Quick Response) code is a two-dimensional barcode used to store information that can be read by a smartphone camera. QR codes are used for many different purposes, including making payments using a mobile device.
To send money to another WeePay Wallet user using the Scan to Pay feature by following the below steps
To find your QR code on the app, head to the ‘Payments’ section, select ‘Scan to Pay’ and tap on ‘Get Paid’.
You can also find it under your profile details by selecting ‘My Personal QR Code’.
Simply request the QR code of any local Areeba licensed merchant, access the WeePay Wallet app on your phone and scan the bill to complete your purchases.
Head to ‘Payments’ and tap on either ‘Pay Bill’ or ‘Recharge Mobile’, depending on the transaction that you’d like to complete, and follow the guided instructions on the app.
At this time, this feature is not available on WeePay Wallet.
